Distribution of Files to Disk

SAP recommends that the SAP SQL Server files are distributed to at least 3 different disks. The following illustrates the distribution of files to disks.

Executables disk

The instructions in this documentation on how to restore a database after a disk crash are based on the disk configuration illustrated here. If your disk configuration is different to this, you may need to contact your SAP consultant for advice on how to proceed to restore the database.
