Translator Profiles

Use

The translator profile is a safety mechanism that controls the quality statuses that translators can assign to the proposals they create. For example, only coordinators and experienced translators can flag proposals for automatic distribution.

Every translator has a translator profile for his or her target language.

If you want to change the quality status of a proposal in the proposal pool, a dialog box appears, prompting you to assign a new quality status to the proposal. When you use the Distribute Proposals function in the short text editor, a dialog box appears, prompting you to specify the minimum quality status as of which proposals are inserted into empty translation lines. For more information, see Distributing Proposals.
