Pagers write the data from the data cache to the data area at each savepoint. If a lot of data was changed and the pagers would have to write many pages at the next savepoint, then the pagers write data from the data cache to the data area before the next savepoint.
When the database instance starts, the pagers import the converter into the working memory.
If you remove a data volume, the pagers read the data from the volume to be removed and then write the data to the remaining data volumes.
