truncate_statement

The SQL statement TRUNCATE (truncate_statement) is supported by MaxDB with restricted syntax only.

• The statement TRUNCATE CLUSTER [<schema>.]<cluster> is not accepted by MaxDB.
• The syntax elements DROP / REUSE STORAGE are accepted by MaxDB. They do not have any semantic meaning, however, since they trigger a response that is standard in MaxDB.
