Each message or error message that is generated during a session with the Archive File Browser is collected in a log in the lower area of the AFB. For an overview of the screen areas of the AFB see User Interface.

Examples of errors include error messages when accessing archive files or the message at the end of the search.

The messages are displayed in the log as a list, with the latest message at the top.
