 Opening WebDAV Repositories

Use

You open a WebDAV repository and display the objects contained in it, for example SQL statements.

Prerequisites

?     You are authorized to access a WebDAV repository.

For more information on WebDAV, see the WebDAV documentation.

?     You are logged on to a database instance.

Procedure

       1.      In the Repository field, choose the type of the WebDAV repository:

Types of WebDAV Repositories

Type

Description

Private

Your private WebDAV repository in the database instance you are logged on to

Public

Public WebDAV repository in the database instance you are logged on to

Remote

Choose this type for the following WebDAV repositories:

?     WebDAV repository in another MaxDB database instance on the local computer or on a remote computer

?     Any other WebDAV repository on the local computer or on a remote computer

       2.      If you choose the Remote type, you then enter the address of the WebDAV repository. Use the following syntax:

http://<servlet_container_computer>:<servlet_container_port>/<context_path>[/<internal_path>]

<servlet_container_computer>

Computer on which the servlet container for the WebDAV repository is installed

<servlet_container_path>

Port used for the servlet container

<context_path>

Context path for the WebDAV repository

<internal_path>

Path within the WebDAV repository

       3.      Choose Refresh.

Result

The directories and objects of the selected WebDAV repository are displayed in the field Stored Statements.
