This individual role summarizes all queries that provide information on commitment creation.

It enables you to manage personnel budgets efficiently by evaluating the financing required (commitment and personnel cost savings) for a person or position. The commitment data and personnel cost savings displayed are determined by the component Position Budgeting and Control. The consumption of commitment by payroll can be monitored using the commitment/actual comparison.

Activities in Position Budgeting and Control

The activities are divided into the areas commitment, personnel cost savings and commitment/actual comparison. A Funds Management view (FM), a CO view and a FI view is available for each area. The FI view is not possible for the commitment/actual comparison.
