Expressions

<parameter> = <expression>.

The assignment operator assigns the result of the expression on the right to the parameter on the left.

The expression can contain the arithmetic operators or the concatenation symbol:

You can use parentheses to specify the order in which the components of an expression are evaluated.

You can specify the offset and length for character strings. The offset and length can be specified with variables:

<parameter> = <expression>+<offset>(<length>).

Assigning Structured Parameters

Complete structures can be assigned:

<structure1> = <structure2>.

Complete tables can be assigned:

<table1> = <table2>.

A table row can be assigned:

<structure> = <table>[<table index>].

An individual field of a table can be assigned:

<parameter> = <table>[<table index>]-<field>.
