An action is something that causes a change of screen – for example, clicking a Save button. There is only one recorded action for each screen and this appears under the ACTION node in the command interface. You cannot parameterize the action.
Screens often have several possible actions – for example, Display, Change, or Save. These appear under the DeclaredActions node. While editing a script, you can replace the recorded action with one of the declared actions.
1. In the test script editor, open the command interface.
2. Expand the tree in the left side of the structure editor to display the relevant element under the DeclaredActions node.
3. From the context menu, choose Choose Action.
The ACTION node is updated with the new value.
