Action

Use

A function or a process that is scheduled for an application document under specific conditions and is started either immediately or later. Actions can be determined both at a header level of the document and for single items. They can be performed in the background by the system, or by a person, person group/organizational unit. The execution can either be started directly after the scheduling of the action or later. For example, actions might entail:

  • Mail, phone call, visit
  • Quotation, contract, credit memo
  • Approval procedure
  • Resubmission
