If you have decided to use the entry type Entry Using Adobe PDF, you design the form for entering the request with Adobe Designer. You can design the form as you wish or use a template, either with the SAP standard form or with the form of a different scenario.
For general information on Adobe PDF forms, see the SAP Library under SAP NetWeaver ® Application Platform (SAP Web Application Server) ® Business Services ® PDF-Based Forms.
Adobe Reader 6.0.2 is installed on the applicant's PC.
You generate an Adobe form in Customizing for scenarios. If you do not enter a name for the form, the name is generated automatically in the format ISR_FORM_XXXX (XXXX = technical name of the scenario). After you choose the Generate symbol, you can decide to have the form generated without a template, with an SAP standard template, or with the form of a different scenario.
When the form is generated, the context of the form is adopted and the characteristics of the scenario are automatically transferred to the interface. You navigate to the Form Builder and can change the layout there. When you define new fields in the layout, you can automatically transfer them to scenario Customizing as characteristics when you leave the Form Builder. This also automatically stores the data binding of the new fields in the layout.
You can also enter an existing Adobe form. The Import Form Fields button transfers the fields on the form to Customizing as characteristics. This also automatically stores the data binding of the new fields in the layout.
