Items in Posting Index Without Document Line Items

Technical name: 0PY_PP_C1_Q002

Use

You can evaluate posting information with this query, which due to the summarization of the posting documents and SAP R/3 where the posting of personnel payroll results to Accounting is carried out, is not contained in the posting document. The summarization ensures that no information is contained at the personnel number level in the posting documents. It also ensures that postings that are mutually cancelled do not result in a posting line in the posting document, but are just kept in the posting index.

When a retroactive accounting result is posted, wage types /551 (Recalculation Difference) and /552 (Subsequent Clearing/Previous Period) are created in the following amounts:

/551: -1.000

/552: +1000

Since these amounts are assigned to the same symbolic account, they create a balance of zero in posting. Therefore, they do not give rise to a posting to Accounting or a line item in the posting document. However, SAP R/3 keeps a record of the amounts in the posting index. You can evaluate them by using this query.
