Editing a Test Case

The general procedure for creating test cases with CATT is described here.

Exceptions can be appropriate in particular circumstances.

  1. Create the test case.
  2. If you have recorded several transactions in a test case, and some of these transactions use the result of previous transactions, you must now chain these transactions in the test case.
  3. You can define transaction output field checks.
  4. If you do not want to always run the test case with the recorded values, create variants.
  5. Run the test case.
  6. Analyze the log.
  7. You may want to rerecord some transactions.
