Selecting All Objects in a Structure

The select all feature is a short cut that allows you to select all objects within a hierarchical structure. When you perform certain types of activities, for example, changing object shapes or colors, you must begin by selecting, or identifying the object you want to work with.

The select all feature is helpful when you want to perform the same activity for all objects. When invoked, the system selects all objects in all view windows.

To select all objects, proceed as follows.

  1. Click on the menu options Edit ® Select all.

Selected objects are highlighted.
