Appointment Type

Use

The appointment type is an optional specification that users select from a list of possible entries. Examples of appointment types include vacation, customer visits, or working at home. The appointment type can have a descriptive character, but it can also trigger further processing by applications or customer-defined user exits. This means that when an appointment of a certain type is created, an action is triggered directly or is requested by the user.

For more information, see Appointment Types and Event Handling in the documentation on Generic Business Tools for the Application Developer (BC-SRV-GBT).
