Time period that a user intends to use for a main activity.
You can create an all-day event for days that you want to spend preparing a presentation or sorting out your folders, for example. Since all-day events leave time for other activities, they have, by default, the reservation status free. They are therefore not considered as appointments in the search for free appointments. In contrast to other appointments, which are assigned to the time period for which they were arranged, all-day events are displayed in the calendar display above the time period displayed for a day.
You can assign a different reservation status, for example busy, to all-day events. Note, however, that, in this case, the display of such all-day events above the time period displayed for a day could be misleading for others.
