Deleting InfoSets

You are in the initial screen of the InfoSets component.

Proceed as follows to copy an InfoSet:

  1. Select an InfoSet or type the name of an InfoSet into the InfoSet field.
  2. Choose the Delete function.
  1. The Deleting an InfoSet dialog box opens.
  2. Click on Yes to confirm that you want to delete the InfoSet.

An InfoSet cannot be deleted if it still contains queries. Before it deletes the InfoSet that you have chosen, the system therefore checks whether there are any queries left for this InfoSet.

    • If there are no queries, the system deletes the InfoSet.
    • If there are queries for the InfoSet, the Delete InfoSet dialog box appears, and the system asks you if you want to delete the queries.
      1. Click on Yes to confirm that this is what you want to do.

The Directory of Queries with Delete Function dialog box is opened. The queries that need to be deleted are already highlighted.

      2. Click on the Selected Queries icon, and confirm that you want to delete the queries.

Whenever you delete an InfoSet, it is also deleted from the user groups to which it is assigned. These user groups must not be locked.

This means that you are able to delete an InfoSet only if its related user groups are not being processed by another user.
